オーストリアが1995年に発行した海洋生物の切手の小型シートは、蓄光（夜光）インクを使っており、暗闇で光ります。このアイデアを使った切手は、その後他の国からも発行されています。
"The World Down Under" souvenir sheet issued Australia in 1995 was printed with "Photostorage Ink". It glows in the dark. This type of stamps was followed by some countries.
